Changing email
I tried to change my email for my guild wars account about 5 days ago. I didnt get the confirmation messages to my email, and I was confused. Now, I figured out that those messages would probably go to my trash mail box, and get automatically deleted. So, about 1 hour ago, I went to try again to change the email. It didnt work because it said that the account is in use. And I'm 100% sure it isnt in use, because the email address is mine. I tried to use the "Forgot your password?" -button, and when i entered my account name in there, it said that there is no such account. WTF?
So basically, a non existing account is in use? Can someone tell me how i can change that damn email? edit: I also checked the Guild Wars support site, and it said something about "7 day holding time". Does that mean that i gotta wait a few days to try again? |

When I did it I had a confirmation email sent to both accounts (old and new) with links that had to both be clicked. I don't THINK they sent a temporary password. I don't remember. Have you tried signing in under the new address?

you click on GW click on options without signing on and click on e-mail and change you email they will send you an email confirming it and then you just change your email and sign in and thats all to it.
